About King Louis Square

King Louis Square offers an affordable and unique living experience that hasn't been available in downtown St. Louis for decades. The new development is phase one of the Near Southside Redevelopment Plan and contains 152 new rental units in 45 buildings. The master plan for the Near Southside redevelopment area includes:

• 250 new ownership residences
• 300 new rental residences
• New senior living residence
• New recreation center
• Peabody Elementary School renovation

Portions of the adjacent City Hospital complex are under consideration for renovation into mixed-use residential and commercial space.

The design for King Louis Square takes cues from the surrounding historic neighborhoods. Thirteen distinct floor plans rent from $370 to $785 monthly.
